Darryl C. Marks is the founder and CEO of Adapt Entertainment, an independent media company focused on developing stories for film, television and other media. Today, Darryl is expanding Adapt’s development slate by acquiring rights to books, articles and original material, and working with writers, filmmakers and producing partners to move selected projects toward production.
His broader experience includes film and television development, international production, post-production and distribution. Through Adapt, Darryl has worked with filmmakers, production companies and global platforms on projects originating in the United States and internationally.
Adapt’s production experience includes feature films and television projects for Netflix, as well as the independent feature The Champion, which is currently available in the United States on Apple TV, Prime Video, YouTube and other major digital platforms.
Darryl is also the inventor of U.S. Patent No. 8,655,152 B2, “Method and System of Presenting Foreign Films in a Native Language.” The patented process became the foundation for Adapt’s technology for creating new language versions of international films and television series while preserving the original performances and creative vision.
